Privacy Policy
What we collect, how it is used, who it is shared with and how to reach us about it.
At a glance
A short summary of the points customers ask about most. The full policy below is what applies.
- Complete card, UPI and banking credentials are generally not stored on our servers.
- We do not sell personal information merely for the purpose of selling it.
- You may contact us about access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent.
- Privacy grievances go to our Grievance Officer.
This policy explains what personal data Fahus collects, how we use it and the choices you have. We have based it on India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Who we are
Fahus Enterprisess, a sole proprietorship in Pedana, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, runs fahus.in. We decide why and how we use your personal data on this site. Under the DPDP Act, this makes us the Data Fiduciary, and you are the Data Principal.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, mobile number, email address, billing and delivery address, pin code and order details.
- When you create an account: your name, email address, password, saved addresses and order history.
- When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo from your Google account. We do not receive your Google password.
- When you subscribe: your email address or WhatsApp number, so we can send new arrivals and offers.
- When you contact us: your messages and any photos or videos you send, such as an unboxing video.
- When you post a review: the name and email address you enter, your review and any photos you add. We show your name and review publicly, never your email address.
- When you browse: your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and analytics.
Payments
Razorpay processes all online payments on fahus.in. When you pay by UPI, card, net banking or wallet, you enter your payment details in Razorpay’s checkout.
We do not see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password. Razorpay shares the payment status and a transaction reference with us so we can confirm your order. Razorpay’s own privacy policy covers the data it handles.
For Cash on Delivery orders, you pay the courier. If we refund a COD order, we ask for your UPI ID or bank details and use them only for that refund.
How we use your data
- To process, pack and deliver your orders
- To take payments and send refunds
- To send order confirmations, dispatch updates and tracking links
- To answer questions and handle returns, exchanges and complaints
- To run your account and Google sign-in
- To send new arrivals and offers, only if you subscribe
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud
- To understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it
- To keep GST invoices and other records the law requires
We use the details you give at checkout to complete the order you asked for. For offers and newsletters, we ask for your consent first. If we want to use your data for a new purpose, we will tell you and, where needed, ask for your consent.
WhatsApp updates
We use WhatsApp to send order confirmations, dispatch details and tracking links, and to reply to your messages. We use the mobile number you give at checkout.
We send offers on WhatsApp only if you join our updates. Meta runs WhatsApp, and WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to messages on its service.
Consent and choices
Where we rely on your consent, for example for offers by email or WhatsApp, you can withdraw it at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in our emails or tell us on WhatsApp. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
Withdrawal stops future use. It does not affect what we did before you withdrew. If you withdraw consent for data we need to complete an order, we may not be able to complete it.
Who we share data with
We share only the data each partner needs to do its job:
- Razorpay, to process online payments and refunds
- Courier partners, to deliver your parcel, using your name, address, pin code and phone number
- Google, when you use Google sign-in
- Analytics providers, to help us understand how people use the site
- Meta, when we message you on WhatsApp
- Hosting and email service providers, who run our website and send our emails
- Government authorities, when the law requires it
We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers may store or process data outside India.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use essential cookies to run the cart, checkout and your login.
We also use analytics cookies to see which pages people visit and how they find us. This helps us improve the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, the cart and checkout may stop working.
How long we keep data
- Order and invoice records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require
- Account details: while your account is open, or until you ask us to delete it
- Newsletter and WhatsApp offers: until you unsubscribe
- Support messages, photos and videos: for as long as we need them to resolve your request and any follow-up
When we no longer need your data, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
How we protect data
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect your data and limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No website is completely secure, so please keep your account password private.
If a data breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you, how we use it and who we have shared it with
- Correct, complete or update your data
- Delete your data, unless we need it for an order in progress or the law requires us to keep it
- Stop using your data where you withdraw consent
- Let a person you nominate use these rights for you in case of your death or incapacity
To use any of these rights, contact our grievance officer below. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
